Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the Master's programme in history is to obtain a high and specialized level of knowledge and professional skills for a historian's work, enabling individual research and publication activities. Furthermore, students may take advantage of participating courses focused on the development of pedagogical skills, passing a final state exam to get a teaching license for secondary school teacher of history.

|
A graduate of Master's studies in History should be capable of independent creative, educative, professionally informative and research work in the field of history. He should be able of a professional oral presentation in a form of lectures, papers, participation in discussions etc. A graduate should be also able of a professional written presentation in a form of scholarly treatises, papers, reports, reviews and articles. A graduate is vocationally prepared for a profession where is necessary to apply skills and knowledge of historical facts, work with historical sources, information searching and processing, a text analysis, a written and oral presentation.
