Course content
The main focus of the course is the Allez, hop! 1 textbook (lessons 1-4 during the winter half-year). The grammar and vocabulary covered are practiced using additional exercises provided by the teacher. Students' listening and conversational skills are also developed using additional materials.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The course aims at the basic grammatical phenomenons of French and developping communicative skills in everyday life. The attention is paid to practical use of these phenomenons. The intensive preparation is required.
After passing the course students are able to communicate on basic level - they can introduce themselves, and their friends, ask the way, express their request, ask sb questions, count and make the negative. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test

Requirements for successful completion of the course and obtaining course credit include regular attendance of classes, continuous and systematic completion of assigned homework, active participation in class, and successful completion of a final written test. The written test assesses the knowledge and skills acquired during the semester and is based on the material covered in class. Attendance is a prerequisite for obtaining course credit; a maximum of two absences per semester is permitted. Any additional absences must be discussed with the instructor in advance, with an appropriate form of compensation agreed upon individually.
