Czechoslovak Legion in 1914-1920 1. First class - Overview of the course 2. Czechoslovak Legion in France - Czech expatriate associations in Paris, Czechoslovak volunteers in the French Foreign Legion - Company Nazdar, the establishment of the Czechoslovak army in France and the deployment of the Czechoslovak Rifle Brigade at the front. 3. Czechoslovak Legion in Italy- Italian distrust of the Czechoslovak resistance, the establishment of independent Czech prison of war camps, deployment of reconnaissance companies, the establishment of the Czechoslovak army in Italy, deployment of the Czechoslovak division at the front, Czechoslovak home defence 4. Students will gain an overview of selected aspects of the Czechoslovak legions deployed in Russia, France, Italy and Serbia and their return to Czechoslovakia. Emphasis will be placed on the analysis of historical scientific literature and archival sources.
