Course content
The language instruction is based on the textbook Allez hop! 2. At the beginning of the semester, the first 13 lessons of the textbook are revised. During the following weeks, next 2 lessons from the Allez hop! 2 textbook are taught. To ensure sufficient and effective practice of the grammar and vocabulary included in these three lessons, the teachers provides other, supplementary exercices. Likewise, supplementary materials are used to further develop students listening and speaking skills.

Learning outcomes
The course aims to develop students? communicative skills in French (speaking, listening). Attention is also paid to gradual build-up of students? vocabulary (of everyday life, especially) and, last but not least, to acquirement of French grammar, with an emphasis put on its practical use. Attention is also paid to professional French and to work with original French text. HF Students broaden their knowledge of French language with professional French, they are able to work with original French text.
Prerequisites
Students are supposed to have basic knowledge of French, corresponding to the first 13 lessons in the textbook Allez hop! 1.
Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test Credit requirements: class participation, preparing for every class, doing homeworks, at the end of the semester passing a test based on the semester work.
