Learning outcomes
|
The goal of the subject is to understand the significance of two worlds: the barbarian (a nomadic and Germanic) and late antique (Roman and Byzantine) and their confrontation in the age of migration period on the basis of historical, archaeological and numismatic sources. Interpretation of ethnic and cultural changes of the migration period in the context of diffusion of prehistoric, ancient and early medieval structures. AD
