Students of the study program Law and Legal Science study all branches of Czech law during the five years of the program, namely these basic thematic areas: (A) Jurisprudence, (B) Roman law, (C) History of law, (D) Theory of State, (E) Civil law, (F) Constitutional law, (G) European law, (H) Civil procedural law, (I) Private international law, (J) Public international law, (K) Commercial law, (L) Criminal law, (M) Administrative law, (N) Labor law, (O) Financial law, (P) Environmental law, (Q) Social security law. Graduates are ready for all legal professions, which they can perform after fulfilling the statutory conditions. These include, in particular, the profession of advocate, judge, prosecutor, notary, executor, university teacher, corporate lawyer, lawyer in public administration. At the same time, students will be able to specialize in diverse areas of legal regulation in sub-sectors within the optional courses included in the program, taking into account the needs of their specialization and the future professional carrer.
