Learning outcomes
The aim of the course Legal Internship is to enable students to experience supervised legal practice in a law firm or other similar workplace during which students will acquire basic practical skills and experience relevant to legal professions. The Legal Internship will rest in fulfilling tasks assigned by the "supervisor" in her legal practice, supplemented by seminars on common themes (professional ethics for legal practice, administrative acts, including accounting of legal services, management of work and time in legal practice, research - written oral presentation of a research summary, communication with a "trainer"), including the final evaluation and reflection of the acquired experience. The course will also include training at the supervisor´s workplace where the internship will take place, and two supervising meetings concerning the course of the internship.
Acquired competencies (knowledge, skills, values):legal research, presenting results of legal research, administering legal agendas, managing work and time in legal practice, reflective approach to legal practice, practical approach to solving professional ethics problems, professional communication.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

To successfully complete the course, the students must attend classes and supervising meetings, carry out tasks according to the instructions of the "supervisor", submit their personal portfolio with a summary of the activities carried out within the internship and final reflection.
