Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to further extend the students' knowledge gained in the subjects Criminal Law 1. - 3. and provide some information about current development and state of criminal regulation both, in the field of substantive criminal law, and procedural criminal law. In comparison with the above mentioned subjects criminal law 1. - 3. in this subject special emphasis will be put on work with judicial decisions of general courts, the Constitutional Court and European Court of Human Rights and on specific procedures of the investigative, prosecuting and adjudicating bodies in practice. Dealing with recent issues of criminal policy is also another part of this subject.
Students who have completed this subject will extend their knowledge and skills gained in the subjects Criminal Law 1. - 3. by learning more about the Czech criminal legislation and they will be able to work with relevant judicial decisions of general courts as well as the Constitutional Court and European Court of Human Rights.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditional upon completion of the subjects Criminal Law 3.

Mark

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader and the subject is completed by the written test.
