Learning outcomes |
The aim of this course is to use the experience that students have acquired in the course "Law for everyday life I" and some of the moot courts, to consolidate their knowledge and to boost their skills. The skills that students obtain will then be planted into the environment of international human rights protection and proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights. Students will develope these knowledge and skills by leading their own moot court's team consisting of high school students. High school students will be prepared for both content: (legal) site, and in terms of skills. The social dimension of the course results from the very methods of Street Law, which aims to raise legal awareness in society. Completing the course will be a competition of individual teams of high school students inmoot court, both at the university level, where they will compete with one another teams coached by law students and international level, where they encounter teams coached law students from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
This course is developed especially for students teamwork skills, which will be essential skills of the management team (coaching), communication and presentation skills, problem analysis, time management, self-reliance,legal writing. These are skills that are crucial to the work of a lawyer. Skill Group management is neglected and yet is crucial for future managers. |
