Lecture Topics: Removing deficiencies from the decisions of court. Appeal Review of an appeal, action for a new trial, action for nullification. Proceedings concerning cases which have been decided by a different body. Special proceedings Non-contentious justice - general part Non-contentious justice - special part Arbitration Seminar topics: Decision, legal force and enforceable decisions. Court costs, reimbursement of court costs. Removing deficiencies from the decisions of court. Appeal - preparation for writing the appeal Appeal - proceeding, evidence, incomplete appellate remedial system, appellate reasons Appeal - judgment Review of an appeal, action for a new trial, action for nullification. Learning outcomes
|
The obligatory subject Civil procedure provides students with the basic knowledge about the civil procedure as a process of court and other procedural subjects when providing protection to endangered and violated rights following from civil relationships. It is conceived as a three semester subject. The first semestr is dedicated to the contentious proceedings, the second then to remedies,non-contentious proceedings. and the third finally to enforcement and bankruptcy. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain supplemental knowledge in the field of civil procedure, as the addition to those from the first semester.

Students who want to complete this course must first successfully complete the Civil Procedure 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
It is essential that those students who would like to pass the course must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must write the civil appeal, succeed in the theoretical and in the practical exam and succeed in the colloquium. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
