Learning outcomes
The objectives of the course can be divided into knowledge objectives and skill objectives. The knowledge objective of the course is the repetition and application of already acquired knowledge in various areas of consumer law (private and public), which students of the PF UP will have the opportunity to understand in their mutual context. Students will achieve this goal by preparing and implementing a teaching block in pre-selected subjects (schools, senior citizens' homes) under the supervision of a PF UP teacher. The skill objectives of the course are to develop students' presentation and communication skills. By presenting consumer law to selected non-legal entities, students will learn, among other things, how to present an often incomprehensible legal text to a layperson in a way that makes it understandable. In this course, students will develop presentation skills, argumentation and communication fundamentals to effectively communicate professional information. Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate certifying all knowledge and skills acquired.
In this course, students will combine theoretical knowledge of consumer law with skills of presentation, discussion, argumentation, successful transfer of knowledge through learning, in an understandable form even for non-lawyers, using the basics of scientific work (searching for information, its processing and further use).
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.
