1. Methods of Dispute Resolution 2. Case Study - Real Rights, Inheritance Law, Law of Obligations - Contractual Obligations, Reparation of Damages/Unjust enrichment + procedural aspects

Learning outcomes
The course Modern settlement of private disputes is focused on interactive way of teaching of civil law and civil procedure. The course will focus on practical solutions of prepared practical civil law cases in the phase of negotiations, pre-trial stage, the stage of the proceedings at first instance, and second instance civil court proceedings. The main aim of the course is not to simulate court proceedings, but lead students to search all alternatives and variants of solving the case through all those stages with an emphasis on the preference of an amicable solution of the dispute in all these stages, rather than to simulate court proceedings. The course should improve practical legal skills of graduates.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the features of law.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Student performance

It is essential that those students who would like to pass the course must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and succeed in the colloquium.
