Seminar Topics: Sources of labour law. Fundamental principles of labour law. Creation of labour relation. Employment contract - material elements Changes of employment contract and change of employment relationship. Termination of employment relationship Notice of termination of employment Employment conditions - general and special Renumeration Prevention and liability in the labour law Liability of Employee Liability of Employer Competition clause

Learning outcomes
This course covers the general features of labour law with the focus on creation, changes and termination of labour relations, work discipline, working time and time for rest, wages and their compensations, care of employees, working agreements etc.
Students who have completed this course will gain general knowledge of labour law and will be able to apply this knowledge in real cases in their legal practice. An additional value of the course lies in the fact, that attendants of the course will gain language skills and orientation in the special English legal terminology.
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.

It is essential that those students who would like to pass the course must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the exam.
