Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of this programme is to provide graduates with a solid knowledge of the Korean language corresponding to the level 4 or 5 of the Korean exam TOPIK. Students should also gain an understanding of Korean culture, society, geography and economy. At the same time, they will acquire knowledge of economic disciplines, which will enable them to find employment in companies (including Korean ones), state institutions or as translators and interpreters. Students should also possess sufficient language skills and expertise to be able to study in a graduate program, for example in Korea.

After six semesters of an intensive language tuition, the graduates of Korean for Business have gained a good command of the Korean language, the minimum of level N3 of the Korean -Language Proficiency Test, and a good understanding of Korean literature, history, culture and contemporary society. This qualifies them for successful career as Korean -speaking assistants or consultants in a range of state institutions, media, private industry and cultural institutions.
