Learning outcomes
The course is an introduction to the philosophy of economics - a discipline that deals with basic theoretical, methodological and ethical foundations of economics. The aim of the course is to point out that the philosophy of economics is an important discipline that helps to understand economic problems in a broader perspective, especially in relation to other disciplines.
Students will gain an overview of the basic theoretical, methodological and ethical problems of economics. They will be able to consider economics in philosophical contexts and recognize intersections between economics and other disciplines.

1. Attendance - min. 80% 2. Active participation in lessons - Reading the texts before the seminar is not obligatory, but it is highly recommended, because the discussion in the seminars is necessary to pass the course. For each participation in the discussion student gets 1 point. To pass the colloquium without additional exam, it is necessary to obtain a total of 24 points and at least 1 point from each lesson in which the student participated. Additional exam will take the form of a discussion or presentation of a selected problem. 3. Discussion - colloquium
