Learning outcomes |
The course RMP1 is intended for students who have elementary knowledge of Russian. The follow-up course puts emphasis on familiarising students with advanced grammar, orthography and pronunciation of contemporary Russian. Lexical exercises will enable students to learn new lexicon and strengthen their vocabulary. Through a variety of exercises (drill, communicative and stylistic), students will learn to use the language independently. The seminars focus on lessons 11-15 in the textbook Ruština pro samouky, but students also learn new vocabulary by reading additional texts relating to the covered topics. Students practice additional topics useful for common communication and improve both their speaking and writing skills.
Students have a command of the vocabulary and grammar in lessons 1-15 in the textbook Pařízková, Š. Ruština pro začátečníky a samouky, 2007. |
Prerequisites |
Knowledge of Russian corresponding at least to lessons 1-10 in the textbook Štěpánka Pařízková, Ruština pro začátečníky a samouky (2007), including the writing system. The course is not intended for the native Russian speakers or the students who come from countries where Russian is an official language.
