Learning outcomes
|
The course is intended for lower intermediate students, as the aims are to broaden their vocabulary, communication and grammar skills (as covered in lessons 6-10 in the textbook Ruština pro samouky). New grammar phenomena occur consistently throughout the texts so that their usage is illustrated. The emphasis is on correct pronunciation and the essentials of nominal and verbal flexion. Some class time will be spent on reading and interpretation of (mostly adapted) texts, formation of dialogues, writing of short essays, and listening practice.
Students are able to read and write the Cyrillic alphabet without difficulties, they have a command of the vocabulary and grammar in lessons 1-10 in the textbook Pařízková, Š.: Ruština pro začátečníky a samouky, 2007.
