Learning outcomes |
This course is meant for the students who want to take an exam (A2) at the end of the four-semester Lower Intermediate German course. This course is to be registered in STAG together with NMP4.
Development of the receptive and productive language skills in general German: speaking listening reading writing Competence to understand academic texts (B1-2). Output language level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). |
Prerequisites |
The exam can be taken on condition that the student has successfully passed all the four semesters of the course (NMP1-NMP4). Output language level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Assessment methods and criteria |
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam
Examination A2: 1. Written part: test - application of grammar and vocabulary, reading, listening and writing. 2. Oral part: a) Monologue (i.e. short presentation) to the determined theme (Units 13 - 24 from the textbook Berliner Platz neu-2) b) Dialogue with the teacher to this theme. c) Self-presentation (personal data, family, field of study, future professional plans etc.). d) Text analysis: Student will find and prepare an authentic German text for analysis (according to the instructions of the examiner). Detailed information and exam requirements will be discussed with the teacher at the beginning of the semester (also available on Moodle). Note: Students can obtain the examination not later than by the end of the examination period of the semester they registered for this course in and only on the terms set by the teacher. |
