Learning outcomes |
The course RMP2 is intended for students who have elementary knowledge of Russian. During the course, students broaden their knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and stylistics, and practice additional conversational topics. As the course focuses on communication in common everyday situations, students improve their independent speaking and writing skills. The seminars also include reading newspapers and fiction. To some degree, students will become familiar with various lexical layers of contemporary Russian, especially slang, terminology, archaisms, and loanwords.
Students have a command of the vocabulary and grammar covered in lessons 1-20 in the textbook Pařízková, Š.: Ruština pro začátečníky a samouky, 2007. |
Prerequisites |
Knowledge of Russian corresponding at least to lessons 1-15 in the textbook Štěpánka Pařízková: Ruština pro začátečníky a samouky, 2007, including the writing system. The course is not intended for the native Russian speakers or the students who come from countries where Russian is an official language.
