Course content
Systematic teaching of practical language, based on a textbook, complemented with listening, pronunciation and other exercises and conversation activities.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course for beginners, designed for students of other fields than French philology, is to familiarise students with the bases of French normative grammar and syntax, with respect to the necessary vocabulary. Students are successively acquainted with the bases of French pronunciation, with the individual parts of speech and their usage within a French sentence, with the conjugation of verbs in present, past and future, with the elements of syntax and the elementary vocabulary necessary for communication in day-to-day situations. No preliminary knowledge of French is necessary for the participation in this course.
Basic knowledge of French language.

Written exam

The student's active participation in the course and fulfilment of all the requirements set by the teacher during the course.
