Learning outcomes |
This is the last semester of the course. The course concentrates on the parallel development of German, both general and scientific. This course will focus especially on developing abilities to read, to comprehend and to translate scientific texts. The course concentrates also on practising other communication forms: speaking, listening and writing.
Ability to use scientific German for studies. Ability to read, to comprehend and to translate scientific texts. Development of language skills in general German. Language level A2/B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). |
Prerequisites |
This course is completed by both, by a credit and by an exam. You have to register NHJ4 if you want to get only a credit (not to take an exam). Input level: A2/B1 of CEFR.

Assessment methods and criteria |
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Didactic Test
Credit: 1. Course attendance - maximum of 2 absences. 2. Regular home preparation, especially written homeworks. 3. Successful passing of the credit test. Examination: 1. Written part: test - application of grammar and vocabulary. 2. Oral part: a) Monologue to the determined theme. b) Dialogue to this theme. c) Students` self-presentations (field of study, future professional plans etc.). d) Text analysis: Students will find and prepare an original piece of specialized text for analysis. |
