Neutral banking transactions 6. Specialized banking business - definition, basic types 7. Bills of exchange - essentials, types, uses, fucn 8. Bills of exchange - aval, accept, indosament, eskont 9. Checks and letters of credit and documentary collections 10. Future trades - futures, swaps, forwards 11. futures - options 12. Summary, repetition, conclusion

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize student with selected commercial banking products, especially with the category of bills of exchange and their escont, mortgages and with products of special banking and developing products as well. The course is also focused on factoring and forfaiting, including bank guarantee in detail. Student also gains knowledge of futures, especially forwards, options and swaps.
Student is familiar with the problems of selected banking products, especially bills of exchange and their use in credits, mortgages and bank guarantees. Student is able to define the specific characteristic of these products, their specific use, advantages and possible risks and pitfalls. Student understands terminology of futures trading, especially forwards, options and swaps and knows their practical use.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite for successful mastery of the subject is knowledge of banking in the basic range.

Oral exam, Written exam, Seminar Work

Active attendance in lessons. Credit test/ seminar work. Exam test with oral exam.
