Key learning outcomes The aim of the Master's study programme Biophysics is to deepen and expand the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the students in physics, chemistry, molecular biology and physiology in order to provide a more comprehensive view of the processes in living systems. Emphasis is placed on deep understanding of the nature of the phenomena, on the correct interpretation of the acquired data and on obtaining a broad perspective in natural sciences, enabling cooperation with experts in biological and chemical research. By completing the Master's degree, the student will understand the principles of important processes taking place in living organisms as well as the principles of physico-chemical methods used for their study. This knowledge predisposes the graduate to work in interdisciplinary teams, namely as a skilled mediator in communication between scientists and technicians, and operator of sophisticated physico-chemical instruments.
