Key learning outcomes
|
The aim of the bachelor study programme is to equip the graduate with a set of basic theoretical knowledge in the major social sciences disciplines. At the same time, the student will be able to apply these theoretical knowledge in the field of education and training. In accordance with the requirements of the practice, the basic aim of the study field is to prepare students for their future educational activity or other professional activities. This implies the need to master the established social science disciplines, the basics of pedagogy, psychology, informatics and other subjects of a general basis

The graduate has solid fundamental knovledge of social sciences, especially philosophy, ethics, political science, history, theory of religion, and economy, sociological and legal aspects of certain social problems. He has good communicative competencies, is capable of understanding the relations between particular disciplines of social sciences, as well as the competency of their systematic presentation and explanation. After graduation the student is qualified for continuation in the master level of the study programme and for various other forms of further studies.
