Key learning outcomes Students gain familiarity with the actual knowledge of bioorganic chemistry, chemical biology, and pharmacy to broaden their knowledge related to the synthesis of organic compounds and study of their biological properties. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students gain the practical skills required to work in chemical or clinical laboratories. Students are able to solve problems related to the preparation of biologically active compounds and to the determination of the structure-biological activity relationship, i.e. to predict and study their properties, propose and carry out the modifications to structure to enhance biological activity, etc. Therefore, this master's program aims to produce graduates capable of working in research of biologically active compounds, in terms of their synthesis and study in biological matrices.
