Course content
Nomenclature of heterocyclic compounds. General methods of heterocyclic compounds synthesis, cyclizations (homo and heterocyclizations), cycloadditions and ring transformations. Nonaromatic heterocyclic compounds (with stress on small rings), their reactivity and the comparison with the reactivity of analogous noncyclic compounds with heteroatoms. Aromatic heterocycles. Five membered ring heterocycles with one heteroatom and their benzo derivatives. Six membered heterocyclic compounds with one heteroatom (nitrogen, oxygen)and their benzoderivatives. Diazines. Fused heterocyclic compounds (purines, pterines). Reactivity and their synthesis. Representatives of all the mentiones classes in nature and life and applied chemistry.
