Course content
The course is aimed at developing students' speaking skills and will reflect current and specific needs of enrolled students. Students are welcomed to contribute to the course's contents.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to: - improve communication skills, broaden and strengthen English vocabulary and phraseology in the healthcare area - improve language competence and active language use for study abroad The course is designed as an optional course in all Bachelor and Master study programmes of the faculty. The required English language level is at least B2. This course is recommended for highly motivated students willing to speak, to actively engage in the lessons and to complete home assignments.
Students will acquire skills and knowledge for an active use of professional English in study and practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work

Attendance in at least 1/2 of the lessons. Home assignment. Colloquium - oral interview. The extent of individual assignments will depend on the student's attendance.
