| Key learning outcomes | Graduates have knowledge and skills obtained in lectures in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, forensic chemistry, structure biology, protein engineering, bioinformatics and related medical and biological areas. Graduates are able to retrieve and use current scientific information from electronic databases and to work with scientific literature in Czech and English. Graduates can perform evaluation and interpretation of experimental data and can present obtained results in written and oral form. A great part of study time devoted to experimental work within independent projects and the elaboration of diploma work provide appropriate level of practical skills in selected areas, language competences and capabilities to work effectively with the scientific literature. Graduates will be capable to apply obtained knowledge and skills to solve tasks in scientific research and in practical expert projects within their future work. |
