Course content
|
Collaborative research and extension of knowledge in the field of plant biotechnology, protein biotechnology and cell biology; individual work in the laboratory under the guidance of a lecturer. Topics will be announced in advance, together with the structure of the seminar work.

Learning outcomes
|
Projects will be focused on improvement of the laboratory work of the Master study programme students. The independent laboratory work will be held for 4 weeks during June-September under the methodological guidance of the lectors.
After the course completion, students will acquire additional practical experience and better understanding of their possibilities in their future professional life.

Prerequisites
|
The subject is recommended for master students of biochemistry and related disciplines. Students will be admited on the basis of personal interview to announced topics approved by the subject guarantee. The laboratory work itself will be carried out with given advisors at the Department of Biochemistry and collaborating laboratories. Number of admited students is limited by laboratory capacity.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work
For students of the Master study programme of chemically or biologically oriented disciplines at the Faculty of Science UP. Fulfillment of the project includes evaluation of the obtained results under the lector guidance in English.
