Key learning outcomes The single major in English for Translation and Interpreting is a program focused on the theoretical background in translation and interpreting. It deepens the knowledge in philological disciplines as well, especially in linguistics (comparative linguistics) and literature and culture. The program further develops practical application of the theoretical knowledge. It reacts to the need for qualified translators and interpreters and the disciplines are chosen to suit that aim.
