| Occupational profiles of graduates with examples | The graduates receive a B.A. degree in English philology. They acquire a fluency in the English language at the C1 level of the common European standard of language knowledge. They acquire a knowledge of English grammar (including theoretical disciplines in linguistics) contrasted with Czech and a general knowledge of British and American literature and cultural studies of the English speaking countries. The graduates may become teachers, translators and interpreters, but above all, the B.A. study is a prerequisite for the M.A. program in English Philology. | ||||
