Course content
Topics: 1. Communication startegies. receiving the patient 2. Dealing with children, elderly, impaired patient, challenging patients 3. Breaking bad news. 4. Dealing with sensitive issues 5. Giving instructions.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to deepen language competencies (speaking, reading with comprehension, listening, writing) at B2 level of CEFR. The subject focuses on the language typical of the field of paramedics work.
Students are able to use professional English in common everyday situations typical of the field of paramedics. They know practical vocabulary and communication strategies, as well as grammar typical of technical language. They are able to apply their knowledge in simulated situations.
