Course content
1. Introduction to interpretation (memory/voice exercises, nonverbal communication, interpretation notes etc.) 2. Community interpretation (at the hotel, introducing a Japanese guest) 3. Learning outcomes
Interpretation seminar 1 is a course for students of the Japanese philology (in the Bachelor degree). It introduces the basic translation techniques (esp. consecutive translation), and students practise translating in the most common situations. Students broaden their vocabulary, learn to use their memory in a more effective way, learn to take interpreting notes etc.

Prerequisites
This course is for the 3rd year Japanese major students of the Bachelor´s degree.
