Course content

- basic vocabulary and phrases - business cards Exchange - a visit of business partners in the company; Receiving a visit - Phoning (Receiving a phone call; Taking a message) - Phoning (Calling to a different company; Leaving a message; Making an appointment) - CV in Japanese Lessons are mainly conducted in Japanese.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed to further develop Japanese language skills of students who have passed Japanese 1-4 and at the same time focuses on the specifics of business Japanese. It has aims: to develop language skills necessary for communication in Japanese companies, to introduce and practise vocabulary and terminology, to introduce the structure of Japanese companies and relationships within the companies and to introduce and practise Japanese business etiquette.
Upon completion of the course, students will: - have improved their language skills, especially in the area of business Japanese - understand and make productive use of Japanese business etiquette - understand the structure and key aspects of Japanese companies

Prerequisites
|
The course is designed for students who have passed Japanese 1-4. It is mandatory for Japanese for the Economic Practice majors, but Japanese Philology majors are welcome, too.

Student performance, Didactic Test
Attendance (70%), preparing for the lesson, submission of all assignments, Successful passing of the final test
