Obsah předmětu
|
Synthesis of knowledge about prevention of caries, relapse of caries, damage to dental pulp, techniques of assessment of the risks. Additional preventive programmes for risk and handicapped patients. The role of a hygienist. Alternative methods of treatment of hard dental tissues defects. Practical training in diagnostics of caries lesions, including x-ray examination, modification of hygiene, burnishing of fillings, and treatment of non-complicated caries.

|
Principal issues in prevention and prophylaxis in dentistry. Oral health and its relation to the overall health state, the most frequent pathological changes in mouth cavity, caries and periodontal diseases. Lectures are focused on prevention in individual fields of dentistry. In practical trainings students learn about examination, professional oral hygiene and treatment of dental caries.
Fundamental practical skills in diagnostics of caries, modification of hygiene, and treatment of non-complicated caries.

Ústní zkouška, Analýza výkonů studenta
100% participation on practical trainings, regular preparing to practical trainings, fulfilment of practical trainings limits: topographical Record teeth, 3x, polishing fillings 4x, treatment of simple caries preventive or fill 3x, 1x fissure sealing. Students will bring in 2 patients which performs complex investigations, treatment plan, treatment hygiene and topical fluoridation. Knowledges control: 90% achievement on the writing test. Directions of dean LF UP B3-3/2011 - It's possible to past 1/3 of obligate education ,but only with apology. Student must have own instruments for plastic filling. We recommend to buy WHO probe. Instuments sterilization provides by Dental Cliic of Palacky University.
