To gain an overview of diagnostic methods and microbiology laboratory services. To be capable of selecting the most suitable examinations. To become familiar with antimicrobial agents, their prophylactic and therapeutic use, and with the principles of disinfection and sterilization.
The students will be able to implement the acquired knowledge and skills both in the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to patients and in scientific and research activities.
