Course content
The content of the course is to: a) learn the basics of communication in medicine (ethical principles of communication and ethical issues in communication), b) the acquisition of communication skills (behavior in the role of a doctor- communication with patient - model situations, foundations of social behavior, environment for communication - model situations), c) acquisition of pro-social behavior of physicians in direct medical care focusing on the specific approach to ethnic minorities in particular, e.g. Roma people.

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Work Activities, Grafic and Art Activities, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The content of the subject is to present the basic rules of oral communication to students, including the formal requirements of written communication; to present the ethical principles of medicine according to Beauchamp and Childress and explain how they are connected with the development of medicine, especially with the work of the physician Hippocrates and Galen, and concretely practice how they influence the communication of the physician in current practice; to approach the role of the doctor with using Problem-Based Learning method which is built on a storytelling casuistry and to show communication in medicine with different types of people, also with regard to their social and multicultural aspects, who seek health care.
Student should have, after completion of the course, learning the following topics: basics of communication, ethical communication, ethical problems in communication, communication - behavior in the role of doctor-patient communication, basics of social behavior, environment to communicate.
