Course content
- Japanese companies in the Czech Republic - history and overview - Company culture introduction - Toyota production system, factory - Human resources - Technical Japanese: EMS (Environmental Management System) - Technical Japanese: pressing - Technical Japanese: quality control - Technical Japanese: certification - Factory tour (depending on circumstances of cooperating factory) Lessons are conducted in Japanese.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to teach students Japanese that is used in Japanese companies. It is mainly technical language and specialised terminology of Japanese company culture. Students will aslo be provided with basic information on the structure and system of a Japanese company (Toyota production system, system of individual production sections, etc.), and the work of a company interpreter.
Upon successful completion of this course students know the system of Japanese production companies. They know the basic terminology, which enables them to translate/interpret in a Japanese company.
Prerequisites
This course is offered to students of the 3rd year of Japanese philology and Japanese for the Economic Practice in Bachelor´s programme who successfully completed the course Japanese 4, and to students of Master programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic

Active participation in classes, class preparation, tasks and short translations, regular tests on vocabulary (70% success), submission of final report in Japanese (after active participation in factory tour), 70% class attendance
