The subject is aimed at acquiring knowledge about the necessary adjustments to methods and forms of work, the use of aids, adjustments to the content of education and the evaluation of pupils with a disadvantage resulting from their health condition. Teaching will be structured according to individual types of disability and subjects included in the primary school curriculum. By completing the course, students will gain an overview of the necessary adjustments to the education of students (with an emphasis on adjustments to methods, forms of work) that are effective in teaching students with SEN. The course content will include the following topics: Basic definition of the terminology of inclusive pedagogy Theoretical foundations of inclusive pedagogy alternative methods of teaching initial reading and writing depending on the abilities and possibilities of individual students given their disadvantage. According to individual types of disabilities: content and methods of teaching subjects of special pedagogical care. Teaching will be structured according to individual types of disability and subjects included in the primary school curriculum. Special attention will be paid to the subject of special pedagogical care.
