Lectures: -introduction to nuclear cardiology -resting and exertion SPECT of the myocardium -examining myocardial viability -PET/CT of the myocardium -detection of inflammation with marked leukocytes -detection of inflammation using PET/CT -lung scintigraphy of lungs, perfusion , ventilation SPRCT/CT -PET/CT of the lungs Seminars: - preparing the patient for nuclear cardiologic examination and PET/CT examination - preparing the patient and pharmaceuticals for pharmaceutical exertion for SPECT myocardial examination, bicycle ergometry

Learning outcomes
|
The goal is to acquire theoretical knowledge about nuclear cardiology, inflammation detection, lung examination. Introduction to PET/CT diagnostics.
Students acquire theoretical knowledge about examination of internal organs and pathological processes from the perspective of nuclear medicine. Students are introduced to the PET/CT.
