Main topics of the subject -Transcultural nursing, multicultural nursing, multicultural society in the Czech Republic, migration, definition of concepts -Kultural and ethnic concepts of health, illness, death, rituals -Specificities of nursing care in the multicultural / transcultural context of pre-hospital and hospital care with focus on selected minorities -Communication with foreigners in a health facility or in providing PNP, ethnocentrism, communication barriers

The subject acquaints students with minority culture culture. The goal is to gain the ability to positively perceive clients / patients from cultures other than their own, to adequately deal with them and to regulate their behavior on the basis of tolerance, tact and empathy.
