Course content
The production of the main groups of substances-halogen derivatives, oxygen derivatives, nitrogen derivatives, dyes, explosives, etc. The lecture concentrates on conditions used for synthesis of compounds, differences between synthesis in a laboratory and in practice, prize of raw materials and work, necessity to minimize wastes especially toxic ones.The attention is also paid to the Law abou chemical substance 157/1998, requirements of GMP and quality system ISO

Learning outcomes
To inform students about industrial organic chemistry.
The understanding to differences between industrial and academic chemistry, knowledge of industrial chemical raw material and knowledge of the basic chemical organic procedures.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Attend lectures, write a test minimally on 70 % and a knowledge of the basic chemical organic procedures.
