Course content
topics: - hardware - development, including sample preparation PC Computer Classes - PIII, - hardware - processors, including sample preparation PC Computer Classes - PIV, - hardware - motherboard, memory, including sample preparation x386 server computer classes, - Hardware - bus card, HDD, FCC, CD, - Hardware - PC assembly, the principle of communication peripherals and the server extensions, - software - operating systems and their architecture, - software - application software and its licensing, - basics of desktop and server virtualization (Virtual PC, WinBox, VMware Player, VMware, Hyper-V) - Work with virtual machine (migration, backup) and the possibility of converting into different virtualization solutions, - Installation and configuration of MS Windows 7 and MS Windows 10, - Installing MS Office and Windows Update, - user management system, MS Windows 7, and the basics of working with MS Active Directory, - assigning computers to the structure of MS Active Directory and its central administration, - security of Windows 7 and its advanced management.

Learning outcomes
The course deals with the construction and configuration of personal computers and both hardware and software. Students acquire knowledge and skills that will enable them to assemble the individual components of the whole PC, replace or add any of the components of the computer, configure optimal hardware environment. They acquire knowledge about installing and configuring drivers for each device, installation and configuration of operating systems and user applications. You can configure the computer for networking.
After completing the course, students should be especially able to: - Identify and use basic controls PC, including basic peripherals, - characterize the most important milestones in the development of computer technology, - recognize the individual components of the computer PC class and explain their function, - describe and explain the principles of communication between the various computer components, - enumerate and identify each computer peripherals, - explain the difference between a server and a workstation, - Identify the different groups of software and licenses to use them, - characterize operating systems and their services, - recognize individual groups of application software and bring the most important representative of various groups, - orient the safety regulations in connection with computers, - launch and operate the program MS Virtual PC, VMware Player, WinBox, VMware and Hyper-V, - install the operating system MS Windows 7 and MS Windows 10, - configure MS Windows 7, - Programs to install and update the operating system, - assign the system to the structure of MS Active Directory, - lead and manage users for both the desktop and the domain account, - Set Security MS Windows 7
Prerequisites
Disciplines are available to students via the LMS Unifor (http://unifor.upol.cz/pedagogicka/unifor/logon.php and contain not only text, but also interactive and multimedia content (animation, etc.). Disciplines include tests for self-evaluation and self-but also controlled verification of acquired knowledge and skills. course is completed examinations carried electronic testing within the LMS Unifor.
