Course content
1. Theoretical constructs - motor abilities; motor skills, motor performance. 2. Principals of testing of motor functions, abilities, and skills in physiotherapeutic practice. 3. Health-oriented fitness and its assessment in physiotherapeutic practice. 4. Motor coordination - cognitive psychological, ecological psychological, and system dynamics approaches. 5. Assessment of motor coordination and identifikation of motor difficulties in children in physiotherapeutic practice.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is: 1) to acquire knowledge on the functional essential of the motor abilities and motor skills; 2) to understand of basoc mechanisms of human motor coordination; 3 to acquire to professional skills of an user of the motor tests and other instruments of motor assessment; acquiring of expert and ethical principals for the educational and psychological testing. The all topics are focuced on physiotherapeutic practice.
Upon completion of the course the student: - is able to explain the functional principle of human motor capabilities and motor skills, - is able to describe the differences in motor capabilities and motor skills in the typical population and individuals with various types of perceptual and motor disabilities, - is able to explain the developmental milestones of motor skills and changes in motor skills throughout human development. - is able to perform testing of motor capabilities and motor skills according to adopted principles.

Seminar paper - brief description of a selected test method, 80% participation in lectures.
