Course content
|
The structure and function of the skin. Bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic skin diseases. Bullous dermatoses. Circulatory disorders of the lower extremities. Radiation and skin. Psoriasis vulgaris and related dermatoses. Skin naevi. Precanceroses. Skin neoplasms. Sexually-transmitted diseases.

Learning outcomes
|
Practical knowledge of dermatological and venerological examinations including basic laboratory tests. Identification of the most common dermatological and venerological diseases and basic knowledge of the appropriate therapy.
Students will be able to implement acquired knowledge to the daily care of patients with skin disorders.

Requirements for obtaining credit: 1. 100% attendance on all seminars and practical trainings 2. Iconography 3. 75% of the points in the PC test
