Course content
|
The content of the course will be consultations about selecting literature and sources, determining a proper methodology and a formulation of a hypothesis. Some classes will deal with a revision of knowledge necessary for practical part of a final state exam from Auxiliary historical sciences, especially paleography and diplomatics. HF

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to help student with a choice of a topic of their bachelor thesis - a discussion about a project and heuristics for a selected topic. HF
After attending this course a student should be able to present a selected topic of a thesis, to choose necessary literature and sources, to determine a proper methodology and to formulate a hypothesis. HF

Prerequisites
|
The practical grounding aiming to the mastering of material sources and methods of academic work to write an appropriate thesis. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Active lass participation. A credit will be given for formulating and defending a hypothesis and a methodology of BA thesis and for a presentation of BA thesis´ topic for second-year colleagues. HF
