Course content
The course will deal in detail with these themes: House of Luxembourg on the Bohemian throne Jan Hus and an attempt to correct the Church Hussite wars Kings Jiří of Poděbrady and Mathias Corvinus House of Jagiellon on the Bohemian throne The Estates Economic development and a rise of guilds Secondary Lands of the Bohemian Crown during late Middle Ages Literature: Cermanová, P.-Novotný, R.-Soukup, P. a kol.: Husitské století. Learning outcomes
The course will be focused on medieval Bohemia during late middle ages. Based on studying of primary sources and literature, the main goal of the course will be to introduce students to important milestones and trends, which influenced the Lands of the Bohemian Crown during 14th, 15th and the beginnig of 16th century.
