Course content
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic overview of political, economic and social history of ancient Greece and Rome. The emphasis of the course is a description of causes and results of important historical events and their interpretation. Lectures also focus on the analysis of the basic literature and primary sources. PZ

To get credits of these courses: DSP, DSDH or DSARC, SPS. PZ

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Exam requirements: discussion about reading list and about 2 questions related to the history of the antiquity. First question is related to ancient Greece and Rome and the second one to Near and Far East. PZ
