Course content
Completion of lecture Light and electron microscopy (KBB/MIK) about practical working with fine light microscopy, demonstrations of advanced microscopic techniques (dark field, phase contrast, Nomarski Differential Interference Contrast (DIC), fluorescence microscopy) and preparation of the cutting microscopic specimens. Excursions: Electronmicroscopes - TEM and SEM (LF UP Olomouc) and a seminar about current trends in the optical microscopy.

Learning outcomes
Goal of the practicalt lecture is to make students acquainted with current trends in optical microscopy, as well as practical working with the fine ligh microscopy and advanced microscopis techniques.
After attending of cource students is able: - to work with fine light microscope - to master selected microscopical methods - to explain principles of samples preparation for electron microscopy - to document microcopical slides and work with - to understand the current trends in light microscopy
