Learning outcomes
|
Active participation on cardiologic department: patients history, physical evaluation, diagnostic methods, therapy and prognostic significance of cardiovascular diseases. Participation in specialized cardiologic laboratories included.
The students could be able for individual evaluation of cardiologic patient, determination of appropriate diagnostic methods, interpretation of laboratory and paraclinic methods, determination of diagnosis and optimal therapeutic approach after this course. There is a test at the end of this block.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
3-fold non -attendance at the cardiology seminars and 3-fold non -attendance at the pneumology seminars are allowed. 2-fold non-attendance at the practical training/laboratories in cardiology and 1-fold non-attendance at the practical training in pneumology are allowed. Students are obliged to compensate for more non-attendance than stated. Holidays without compensation. Knowledge checking.
